Frequently Asked Questions

Does Emoji Pong need an internet connection?

Yes. An internet connection is required for your profile/username, leaderboards, and score syncing.

How do leaderboards work?

Leaderboards show the Top 100 players for Weekly, Monthly, and All‑Time periods. Your best score for the current period is saved and only increases when you beat it.

Weekly and monthly periods are calculated using the Europe/Istanbul time zone.

Can I change my username?

Your username is chosen during onboarding. The app does not include an in‑app username editor after that, so treat your choice as permanent for normal use.

I don’t want vibrations. Can I turn them off?

Yes. You can toggle haptics in Settings inside the app.

Does the app show ads?

Yes. The app may show ads as part of the free experience, including:

An app open ad (when available)
Interstitial ads after some game overs (when available)
Rewarded ads that you can choose to watch for an optional continue/extra life (up to 3 rewarded continues per run, when available)

Rewarded ads are always optional—you can tap Play Again or Menu instead.
